We’ve all had boring jobs, but an employer pays you for your time. If you want to work on your novel, wait until your lunch break or after work. Also whatever you put on a company computer can be retrieved and is the property of the company. So, if you’re going to work on a personal project, do it on the sly…and I would suggest a yellow legal pad.
