A bad omen

In this Writer Beware Blog they talk about this company Starving Writers Publishing. Okay, aside from the fact that they explain why they’re taking your money to publisher your book, I find them perplexing.

I don’t understand who would submit their work to a publisher called Starving Writers Publishing??? I mean not only are they reminding you of the state of most authors they’re asking you for money too? Rich Authors Press, I could get. Or Wealthy Author Publishing. But I guess this only highlights how hungry some of us are to see our names in print. Or perhaps they’re just accurately describing their authors. Who knows?

On another note, perhaps the best way to eliminate a publishing company is if they spell their name wrong. Not only does this company explain their fee charging policy they spell their name as ’staving’ instead of ’starving’ in one instance.

Okay I know that mistakes get made, especially online, but for a publisher to mistake their own title is a little worrying.
